CA will seek crisis talks with the Australian Sports Commission next week over thetough stance that it was unacceptable for Warne to train while serving his 12-month banfor taking a banned diuretic.
Mr Howard said he backed a threat from the sports commission to withhold funding fromCricket Australia if Warne trains with his sides.
"I think he should observe in full the conditions of the ban," Mr Howard told MelbourneRadio 3AW.
