Vic: Bombing survivor to help bushfire victims
Aussie London bombing survivor GILLIAN HICKS will this week pass on messages of hope
and inspiration to survivors of Victoria's bushfires.
Ms HICKS lost both her legs when bombers attacked London's public transport system in 2006.
Back in her hometown of Adelaide for Easter .. Ms HICKS has told the Nine Network she
will be speaking at a fundraising luncheon in Melbourne on Thursday.
She says it was her Aussie spirit that helped her survive and believes it will also
help the hundreds of survivors get through the tough times.
Ms HICKS also says believing and having faith in humanity and the people around them
is also very important.
